Description
For a fun, interactive play session that you and your baby will both enjoy come and join us at Discovery Tots.
Here, we introduce a whole range of activities and techniques to help you and your baby get more out of your play times in ways that are not only beneficial for baby’s development, but also lots of fun.
We know that babies learn with their whole body and all their senses, and each 40 minute class is filled with lots of different experiences to stimulate, delight and encourage development in a relaxed, loving and fun environment.
Even at such a young age a structured playtime, which the classes provide, helps a child to feel secure, giving the confidence to explore, learn and grow, making development more rapid and learning more fun. It is also a great place to start building social skills, first by watching and later through interaction with the other babies.
Through the classes babies will develop and improve;
• Body awareness and gross motor skills.
• The functions of the brain through a wide range of stimulus for all the senses.
• Social awareness through the group environment.
• Communication skills through the use of sign language, songs and rhymes
• The bond between the two of you.
Plus you will be introduced to simple songs and activities that can be carried on at home to continue the learning and development process, and join a community of other parents and babies of a similar age.
Each class consists of a number of activities including:
Baby Yoga, Movement and Music, Baby Sign Language, Multi Sensory Play, Story Massage and Wind Down Time.
Each week brings something new, while including elements that are repeated, which your baby will come to recognise and respond to.

Tots Play classes usually run inline with school term time. Class dates will be provided for you in advance of each term block. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year, with the exception of August, when no classes run and no payment is taken. The fees are split into 11 monthly payments of £24, therefore the payment will remain the same regardless of how many classes are running that month due to school holidays. The aim is to make it more affordable and easier to manage financially, rather than having one large lump sum to pay up front for each block. I'll automatically re-enrol you onto the next term, so your place is secure and you won't need to remember to rebook each term. You can leave at any point and we've kept the cancellation process as simple as possible. All you need to do is let me know via email by the 15th of the month and your subscription will be cancelled and no further payments will be taken. (Minimum 2 month subscription period before cancellation). You can join at any time of the month and the classes will be added to your first subscription payment at a rate of £7 per class. If you have any questions regarding the classes or the subscription payments then I am always happy to help.
