Join us for some outdoor fun with your little one!

Mini Forest School Club is all about exploring, playing and adventuring outdoors in a safe environment, where children are free to engage all of their senses and connect with nature.

The Forest School area in Marcus Garvey park is a safe urban woodland space, which is an ideal learning environment for children to develop their fine and gross motor skills, confidence, independence and resilience. 

The weekly outdoor sessions have a relaxed and child-led approach, based on Montessori principles, heuristic play and Forest school activities. 

This child-carer class includes natural exploration, creative play, mud kitchen, den building, woodwork, natural art & craft activities, songs, story-telling and snack time. The children will be practising creative thinking, improving their language and social skills as well as developing responsibility for themselves, others and the natural world. 

'There is no such thing as bad weather!' Please dress your child appropriately (ideally in waterproofs and wellie boots)!
