WOODENTOTS FOREST SCHOOL

Sessions are running - book on our Forest School website to plant the seed for the love of the outdoors!

A first step towards woodland adventures and natural sensory activities, following child-led seasonal rhythms to explore with your little one. (Or little ones - you can bring a younger sibling for free!)

With a wide range of group and free-form activities, you and your baby or toddler will love exploring the prepared environment in our private nature reserve!

From playing with sticks in the pond, transporting leaves with our wheelbarrow, searching out the variety of woodland plants, to making decorated mud pancakes in our mud kitchen, painting or identifying the parts of a worm, there are plenty of delights to help your little one learn through play.

If your little one is not yet able to explore on their own two feet, we have a limited number of half-price places reserved for babies - you will be based on our big blanket in the centre of the reserve with age-appropriate materials, but free to help them explore the textures, sights & smells around our site! It's a good chance for you both to take a breath of fresh air and interact with people with the same mindset!

Sessions generally have a theme and are different each time - we'll also give you guidance on how to expand on the experience at home. Our friendly and experienced staff will ensure you make the most of the environment. We are open whatever the weather - our giant Geodome will protect us if the weather turns.

We close with Circle Time, where we sing songs and reflect on what we discovered!

A healthy snack is included.
