Developed with the help of Speech and Language experts and launched in January 2001, the "Sing and Sign" programme has since taught tens of thousands of parents across the UK how to sign with their babies and encourage amazing early communication.
About
I first discovered Sing and Sign when my youngest daughter, Phoebe was 6 months old. We went along to our local class and soon fell in love with the class and the group of mums and dads who soon became our friends. (And are still our friends now)
I learnt so many signs that I practised at home and before long Phoebe was amazing me with her signs! Her first one was 'milk', which was swiftly followed by 'more' especially as we were weaning at the time!!! I had two more children and I continued to attend classes and they all loved it. It was a brilliant way to communicate with each other before they were able to talk.
After 3 years of classes, I was well and truly hooked and decided to make the leap and begin teaching. Unfortunately I only managed to teach two terms before lockdown but I loved every minute and I absolutely cannot wait to get back to teaching and meeting you and your little ones!
