We all have a voice and Singing Mamas invites you to use your voice with us, to make gorgeous music together and to feel great. Maybe you love singing to your favourite tunes at home? Perhaps you used to sing in a choir? Or you just want to enjoy the experience of singing with others and improve your singing ability… Singing Mamas invites you to join us each week for 90 minutes of precious ‘me-time’. Whether you’ve never sung before or are a seasoned pro, you’ll be made very welcome. There’s no ‘spotlight’, no audition, just an opportunity to forget the stresses of life, to sing for yourself, for each other and just ‘be’. Bring your baby, toddler, home schooler or come on your own – whatever works for you. It’s fun, it’s uplifting and after the singing you get to enjoy tea and cake!

Hi, I'm Harriet! I'm a former primary school teacher, now living in Beckenham (formerly of Penge), and a mum to two small children. I discovered Singing Mamas while I was on maternity leave, and it was a real turning point for me. Singing in a group was incredibly uplifting — it helped me feel calmer, more connected, and had such a positive impact on my mental health. I loved it so much, I decided to train as a leader!

I truly believe in the power of music to bring people together. Research shows that singing has amazing benefits for both mums and babies. It can enhance bonding, support babies’ cognitive development, and even reduce symptoms of postnatal depression in mothers.

My Singing Mamas group offers a warm, relaxed, and welcoming space for women to connect through song — no experience needed, just your voice and a willingness to join in. Whether you're there for the music, the community, or just a moment of calm in a busy day, you're very welcome - just as you are.
