Welcome to Song & Storytime! We're a new group with the dual purpose of providing engaging musical movement sessions for babies, and fostering a relaxed environment to develop a supportive community of parents. A music class for families who want sensory and music opportunities for their children that is flexable and affordable. We sing a variety of lively action and activity songs for you to sing with your little ones. Children lead the flow of the session - they get the opportunity to select their favourite songs and we adapt the class around their attention span, mood and needs. We also include sections with sensory scarves, musical movement and percussion instruments. We are a community organisation supported by skilled volunteers funding monetary donations from attendees and Hearsall Baptist church. We're more than a baby group we have a vision of families contributing in the ways share your time, your parenting dilemmas, joys and advice and preloved baby items. Were one of the only groups open to all children from bump to 5 years along with their caregiver. We love meeting expectant parents to sing to babies in utero and introducing their little one to the group once their born. The class is developed to allow parents with more than one child to have everyone in the family catered for and the group grows with the child allowing growing friendships to be maintained. We are a lively class open to all children whether a snoring or brawling newborn to a clingy or lively 5 year old. Youre unlikely to find a friendlier group of experienced parents to open up to. Were not a specialist SEN group but welcome Children or families with additional needs. The group is held between two large accessible rooms and has a good sized disabled toilet and changing room.
