What Splitzania Performing Arts Academy says

At Splitzania Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) we teach a variety of dance genres accompanied by our magical dancing ZaNiBear mascots in every class. Our professional dance coaches showcase a selection of dance styles every term in a fun and imaginative environment. Incorporating props, upbeat music, dance specific routines and fun party dances, certificate presentation, and a chance to meet and take photos with the ZaNiBears, we deliver engaging, educational, and fun classes suitable for children aged 18 months to 6 years. Our students have an all-round, age-appropriate learning experience as we develop their core skills by providing educational and fun classes which enhance memory skills, co-ordination, strength, balance, self-expression, confidence building, performance skills and rhythmical movements. We also encourage and develop their social skills with friendship building, sharing, showing kindness and respectfulness, taking turns, supporting each other, co-operating, and group responsibilities.

Our dance classes are suitable for ages 18 months - 6 years. Parents, grandparents or guardians can join in the fun of the class too or there will be seating (where available) to watch.

At SPAA we offer a completely free of charge trial for your first class. Just drop us a message to find out more information, and don't forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for all the latest updates, class information and class theme of the week. We look forward to seeing you in a class near you soon.

About

Combining over 50 years of professional dance teaching and performance coaching, Val and Dawn have brought together their expertise, creativity and passion for performing arts, parties and all things that make childhood so magic, and created the wonderful world of SPLTIZANIA!

Val (Co-Founder)
With over 35 years of professional dance training and competitive performance coaching, Val's passion, expertise, and unending creativeness to deliver outstanding, high energy and engaging dance classes continues through the launch of Splitzania Performing Arts Academy (SPAA). Val wanted to develop a new format of teaching for the very youngest of students by creating dancing mascots (ZaNiBears) who each have their own unique genre of dance to enhance engagement and concentration, to help young students learn to dance, possibly for the very first time. SPAA dance classes have been developed for preschool and Key Stage 1 age students initially. Val's ultimate vision, to elevate the magic of dance and bring recognisable dance-specific characters and courageous imagination, into the hearts and homes of the next generation has just begun, one ZaNiStep at a time.
Dawn (Co-Founder)
Dawn has worked and performed in the dance industry for over 23 years with her speciality in Ballroom & Latin coaching, as well as a variety of others dance styles she has studied and taught over the years. With over 25 years in the health and fitness industry, Dawn has the drive, talent, experience and passion to bring excitement, experience and energy into Splitzania Performing Arts Academy. Dawn is an elected committee member for the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), which she has served on for over 10 years and she also holds the Nationwide Rep title for the society bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise in coaching, workshops and lectures nationally. Her passion, input and commitment to the SPAA vision is unwavering, along with her relentless drive to enhance and co-develop all aspects of Splitzania Performing Arts Academy's future developments.
