What Story Box says

Story Box is a storytelling and drama class created by Sian Thomas, who is a Speech & Language Therapist and Drama Practitioner with a passion for developing communication potential and other childhood development skills through original stories, drama, music and play!

This class is aimed at children aged 3-5 years and uses Makaton sign and visuals throughout to provide a fully inclusive environment, where every child has their chance to shine!

Hi, I'm Sian and welcome to Story Box!
Writing children's stories and performing them is my absolute passion. As a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist and Drama Practitioner, I specialises in the development of communication potential through interactive stories, music, drama and play. I have two children – one of which has additional needs and I understand how important it is to find inclusive activities that not only supports child development, but provides opportunities to socially interact with peers.
We are Makaton friendly and sign and visuals are used throughout our sessions.
