SUTTIE SCHOOL OF DANCE

Dancing since 1976

What Suttie School of Dance says

Principal Carol Suttie has been the heart of the Suttie School of Dance since 1976, over 40 years! After many years of teaching for her own dance teacher, she decided to set up her own dance school and it has gone from strength to strength ever since, with Carol now also head of the association, Midland Academy of Stage Dancing (MASD). The school creates a happy and lively atmosphere throughout the classes, building self assurance, good social skills and interaction, along with self discipline and determination. It has over 250 pupils ranging from the ages of 2 to 80! Based at two locations, Bilbrook Church Hall and St Nicholas School, Codsall, you can expect to be taught a wide range of subjects including Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, Musical Comedy and Disco. Each year every pupil takes examinations in all subjects with the Midland Academy of Stage Dancing, for which we have a 100% pass rate. We also put on an annual show at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton, costumes are provided and every pupil takes part. The Suttie School of Dance produces high quality dancers and many past pupils have gone on to work professionally in the world of dance and entertainment.
