Hi, I'm Kelly. I live in the beautiful South Norfolk countryside with my husband and our two boys, Harrison and Jenson and am so delighted to offer TinyTalk Baby Signing and Toddler Talking Classes in South Norwich and South West Norfolk, (currently Norwich, Cringleford, Hethersett and Wymondham).
I attended TinyTalk Baby Signing classes in both Wymondham and Norwich with my first born when he was 6 months old. From day 1 I was hooked, and when Harrison began signing himself I just couldn't believe he was now able to communicate his feelings, thoughts and needs with me. I'll never forget when he looked up in the sky and signed bird to me, it was like a little piece of magic. It is a memory that will stay with me forever. When I gave birth to my second son, I knew the one class he was definitely attending was TinyTalk Baby Signing!
My background is in teaching, having worked in both Norfolk and Suffolk as a Science Teacher for over 10 years. When I gave birth to Jenson, I was lucky enough to become a stay at home mum and enjoy time with the boys whilst they are still young, they grow up far too quickly! My two beautiful, boisterous, cheeky boys make life a never ending whirlwind, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Harrison is at school and Jenson has just started nursery, so now seems the perfect time for me to begin teaching my own TinyTalk classes.
I first attended TinyTalk Baby classes in January 2016 and moved into a Toddler signing class when Harrison was ready at around 18 months. We both loved learning a new skill that was so beneficial to us, but equally loved social time, where Harrison was able to interact with other children and I was able to have an adult conversation (and a cuppa!) with people who were understanding of life with a little one.
TinyTalk classes are an hour long and packed with lots of fun! We use familiar nursery rhymes and action songs in a very friendly and relaxed, yet structured, way to introduce British Sign Language based signs. This is followed by social time where the babies can play and you have the chance to chat with other parents whilst having a cuppa and a biscuit. Our Baby Signing and Toddler Talking classes are so much more than than just baby signing so come along and find out for yourself!
