TODO EL MUNDO

Languages for everyone

What Todo El Mundo says

In February 2012 mum of two, Katherine Mallia, started her first Spanish class teaching a handful of children from the local area. Now Todo el Mundo run Spanish clubs at 6 Bath Primary Schools, 3 local nurseries and runs classes open to all at St Swithins Church and the Gateway Centre. From 2015 Todo el Mundo collaborated with teachers from Spain, France & Latin America to deliver fun language lessons to children and adults in Bath and Somerset. During the first Coronavirus Lockdown in March 2020 all our classes were taken onto Zoom and continue to be accessible to all families online during 2021.

About

"I had the chance to go and live with a Spanish friend Estefania and her family in Malaga, I jumped at it”. Katherine spent four years living and working in southern Spain around the cities of Málaga, Granada and Córdoba where she acquired the language naturally.

Katherine then took the plunge and studied for the highly regarded “Leonardo Da Vinci Programme” as well as completing a language study course at the Giralda Centre in Seville where she was awarded an exceptional Cervantes C1 result for Spanish. Her studies and work across Spain which included months working in the offices of a local Spanish TV production company, fully immersed her into the Spanish culture and way of life.

Katherine manages all Todo el Mundo classes and the team as well as teaches children aged 0-12 using the structured courses from La Jolie Ronde. You can see her in action on our Youtube channel! She won La Jolie Ronde Licensee of the year South West 2013. Katherine has an enhanced DBS check, Paediatric First Aid training and Level 2 Safeguarding.
