What Willow Montessori says

In our playgroup sessions, you and your child will be welcomed into a calm and nurturing environment that is set up with child development at the heart. You will also be able to take a step back and observe how your child interacts with the space while also being guided by two Montessori teachers.

Over our sessions together we will cover an array of topics including Montessori philosophy as well as ways to include Montessori into your life at home. The groups provide a wonderful opportunity for you to meet other like-minded parents and care givers.

We currently offer Spanish immersion and Newborn classes on a Monday. We offer Blossom, Wigglers, and Newborn classes on a Tuesday. Feel free to contact us if you’re not sure which group is suitable for your child.

We aim to have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 children in each playgroup. Please contact us if there’s a class you would like that is not on offer and we can open with a minimum of 3 children.

About

After commuting to work for over two years we decided to start a Montessori project in Glasgow with what we had.
We were fortunate enough to have a room lent to us to start with Montessori playgroups in Glasgow city center. We prepared a calm and nurturing space for 0-3 years children and their caregivers to explore and engage with age appropriate activities and discussion topics.
First we moved into the room next door and later relocated to a new premises in Bearsden where we could grow.

Aside from our initial Wigglers (0-12 months) and Blossom (12m-3 y) groups we started Spanish/French immersion sessions.
