Looking for something a bit different for your child this summer?

My 1-hour Summer guitar workshops are designed for children aged 4-12 who want to learn in a relaxed, friendly setting, alongside a friend, sibling or small group they already know.

Whether your child has been asking to try the guitar, or you just want to keep summer screen-time down & creativity up, this is a brilliant option.

We’ll cover guitar basics, rhythm games, chord-building, jamming techniques and more, all based on the age & ability of your group. Sessions are lighthearted, supportive and beginner-friendly, with no performance pressure, and plenty of room for fun.

Prefer to learn alongside your child? This version of the workshop lets a parent & child share the session for a bonding, memory-making summer experience, no musical experience required.

Location:

Held in Charlie’s home practice in Kings Langley, with on street parking, DBS checked and insured. Sessions can also be held online if preferred.

What to bring:

Each participant will need to bring their own guitar. If you’re not sure what type to buy or borrow, Charlie is happy to advise based on your child’s age & hand size.

You’re welcome to suggest a few dates that suit your group and go from there.

🎸 What to bring:
Each child will need to bring their own guitar (you could hire one). If you’re not sure what size or type to buy or borrow, I’m happy to advise based on age and hand size, just drop me a message.

♿ Accessibility:
I’m experienced teaching children with SEN, neurodivergence and mental health needs, feel free to let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to be aware of ahead of your visit.

💳 Booking & Payment:
Don’t forget, you’re in charge of bringing the group to the summer workshops, whether it’s your child and their friend, or a larger group.

Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance to confirm your slot. Once we’ve agreed a date and your group size, I’ll send payment details directly. The summer workshops are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or re-scheduled.
