LAUREL’S WOODLINGS

Laurel's Woodlings is a friendly and welcoming outdoor playgroup for confident walkers up to age 6, based in a secure private woodland just outside Formby. Our stay and play sessions are led by an experienced Forest School leader and primary school teacher, with nature crafts, tool use, stories, games and lots of time to explore our natural woodland playground.

We support children’s confidence, resilience and wellbeing through play in nature. Our space has been designed with the needs of neurodivergent children in mind, with calm areas, clear routines, and gentle encouragement. Periodically, we offer funded or subsidised sessions to help remove barriers to access.

Our site is pram-friendly and just a short, flat walk from the car park. Come rain or shine, we’re here with a smile, a cuppa and a warm welcome.

The entrance to the Woodlings site is clearly signposted from the car park. Woodlings is an all weather playgroup (excluding high winds and thunderstorms), with cosy covered spaces to dry-off and warm-up. Bring your puddlesuits and wellies!
