I’m Lily, a mum of two boys on a mission to help families have a positive and empowering experience as they prepare for their birth, babies, and beyond.

During my first pregnancy, I enrolled in an antenatal class and although I made some wonderful friends, I soon realised I was unprepared for the realities of labour, birth, and early motherhood. My goal is to empower families to step confidently into this next chapter of life, equipped with the knowledge and tools they need—without the midnight Googling!

After my first birth ended in an unplanned caesarean (as currently around 20% of first-time births do in the UK) I was determined to have a different experience with my second. Through learning about birth and achieving a successful VBAC I discovered a deep passion for antenatal education. This inspired me to become a trained antenatal educator and hypnobirthing practitioner, with a mission to make education accessible to all families in our community.

With the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) reporting a shortfall of around 2,500 full-time midwives and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) revealing that nearly half of NHS maternity units in England are rated as inadequate or needing improvement, there has never been a more crucial time to take charge of your antenatal education.
