LITTLE PICCOLOS

These weekly classes are attended by children aged 3 months - 18 months and their parent or caregiver. We offer fun and dynamic classes, taught by trained musicians, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse, pitch, rhythm and tempo.

Every class is carefully planned to nurture the innate musicianship of young children. We know that children learn through play and our classes draw on this through imagination, collaboration and creativity.

High quality music

​Our classes are taught by trained musicians, we write a lot of our own repertoire and we are very against annoying sounds or backing tracks! Our classes are acoustic, and informed by the Kodaly approach and the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework to keeping your child's learning at the centre of our class.

Welcoming atmosphere

​We have small classes of up to 10, and lovely musical instruments to play and explore. We use occasional props or puppets to augment some songs.
