Give your child the exciting chance to hand build a bespoke gift for a special grown up in their life! They will love this hand building pottery session - it's an exciting opportunity for children to explore their creativity and let their imaginations run wild, as they learn to make and model their own clay mug and medallion. During the class, your child will learn beginner joining techniques and will be introduced to the basics of hand built pottery, while also decorating using mono-printing and "pasta-printing" techniques. Their creations will be fired and glazed and will be ready to pick up just in time for Father’s Day. Capture who your child is in this moment through their unique artwork and appreciate their gift for years to come!

NOTE: Children 5-6 years must be accompanied by a helping adult, children 7+ can be dropped off or accompanied at your discretion.

NOTE: Pottery is an unpredictable medium, and cracking is a common occurrence. Whilst all care will be taken to teach and assist crafters on proper techniques, cracks and breaks are a part of the learning process. Active Hands will not issue refunds for cracks, breaks or explosions in the kiln.
