ANTENATAL SOCIAL CLUB

Antenatal Social Club. is a warm, community-led alternative to traditional antenatal classes, for expectant parents who want to feel connected, supported and more prepared for real life with a baby, whether it’s your first or your third. Designed by parents, for parents- shaped by the conversations people wish they’d had before their baby arrived.

Who it’s for

Many antenatal courses are designed only for first-time parents. Antenatal Social Club is for everyone. First time parents to fourth time parents. Sessions are designed so everyone gets something from them.

What the sessions are like

Sessions focus on the human side of early parenthood, rather than medical lectures. They’re relaxed, discussion-led and practical, with plenty of time to talk and connect.

Sessions include:

• Feeding realities, newborn sleep, parent hacks

• Identity, relationships and emotional wellbeing

• What to buy and what not to buy

• First Aid session included

• Interactive, discussion-led activities

• Time to chat and meet other expectant parents locally

Accessible and affordable

Antenatal Social Club is intentionally the most low-cost antenatal course and accessible. We believe meeting other expectant parents and building a support network shouldn’t cost a fortune.

Inclusive and welcoming

Groups are open to all expectant parents: first-time, second-time and beyond. Sessions are inclusive, non-judgemental and welcoming of different family structures and experiences.

Community beyond pregnancy

Community doesn’t stop when the sessions end. We are the only antenatal course that partners with local baby classes and postnatal fitness providers, offering exclusive discounts so parents can continue meeting and stay connected.

Where we run

Sessions are run in relaxed, local settings (no desolate halls, just good vibes). We run across Walthamstow (SoHo Theatre), Leyton (Deeney’s) and Leytonstone (The Red Lion). Soon to be expanding across other areas.
