Description
You can join this small friendly class anytime in your 2nd and 3rd trimester - the earlier you start, the greater the benefits! Those who are new to yoga are very welcome.
During these classes, you will be:
- Guided through flowing movements that can feel supportive and empowering for your changing body, helping you to stay active.
- Introduced to mindfulness, breathing and relaxation techniques to help with trust, focus, sleep and nourishing a sense of peace throughout your pregnancy, birth and beyond.
- Exploring useful positions and practical tips in pregnancy and birth (regardless of which birth option you choose) for you and your baby to feel comfortable.
- Developing awareness of the pelvic floor and how to tone and relax this group of muscles that are integral to women’s well-being throughout our lives.
Pregnancy Yoga classes are a wonderful way to bond with your baby before they are born. Additionally, it's a great opportunity to meet other new mums-to-be, building a supportive community during your pregnancy and after your baby is born. You can then move on to the Mum & Baby Yoga classes and enjoy a special time moving with your baby, alongside the friends you made from Pregnancy Yoga!
