Harmony Haven is a singing group for women. The focus is on connecting with your community and singing together in harmony to promote wellbeing. There is no ‘required standard’ to come along. There will be no auditions. The songs will be simple to learn, and chosen for their ease of layering up and sounding rich very quickly.

Can I bring my baby / preschooler?

Absolutely!  If you are bringing a baby or preschooler, please bring a couple of toys. I’ll have a few toys already for the middle, so don't worry if you forget.

The class is very relaxed, and you're welcome to feed, change, move around with your baby or little one.

There are also baby changing facilities right outside if you'd rather use those.

What if I don’t have children?  Or they’re at school?

Please come along.  This is a group for ALL women of all ages – a baby or toddler is not a requirement! Trans women are very welcome to join. As are non-binary people, as long as you'll feel comfortable in a women's space.

It doesn’t matter.  There is absolutely no required standard to join.  Everybody has the right to sing.

What is the point of this group? 

The point is to create a wonderful community of women, who enjoy singing together, to give a little lightness and relief for an hour in your week.  The health benefits (both mental and physical) of singing, particularly in a group are now widely evidenced.

It is also great for any children who come along, as they absorb the music while they’re playing.

* UPDATE* - From the 6th August until the 27th August, we will be meeting in the park opposite Saltdean Lido. No session on Wednesday 3rd September, and then back at Saltdean Lido from Wednesday 10th September.

The space is fully accessible. If you come with a buggy, you can use the lift.
Please note - we are in the Serenity Studio upstairs, NOT in the cafe
