Brought to you by former Women's Health Dr Hannah Tribe, Mindfulness for Mums is an online class designed to give you a moment for stillness and self-care amidst the challenges motherhood can bring.

Hosted on Zoom, this 30-minute class features:

  • A brief introduction to this week's meditation along with explanations of how it can benefit you in this particular phase of life - blending Hannah's combination of her professional background as a Doctor with her training in Meditation and personal experience of burnout recovery
  • A 15 minute guided meditation
  • A practical takeaway to help you implement principles of mindfulness in your life, no matter your current situation

Join alone or with your little one - classes are recorded so that you can still benefit from the guided meditation even if you struggle to join live or your little one makes it hard for you to join in with the meditation at the time.

This class is for you if:

  • You're looking for an activity for YOU that doesn't require you to find childcare or carve out hours of your day
  • You're struggling with low mood, anxiety or overwhelm and are looking for gentle ways to support your mental health
  • You want to learn ways to better manage the stressful moments of parenting (of which there are many!) that are backed by science
  • You just want a moment to relax!

Meditation and Mindfulness can be fantastic tools to help you reduce stress and feel more able to manage the challenges of parenting by teaching you techniques that have been scientifically proven to reduce anxiety, improve mood and build resilience, which can have knock-on benefits on your child/children, your romantic relationships and your wider family and friends.

Booking via the link is essential, booking closes 1 hour prior to the class start.

Zoom links are provided on the Eventbrite page after booking a place.

If you know you will have your little one with you at the time of the class, don't worry! You can listen along to the class with them, playing, feeding, changing nappies etc as you need, or even try the meditation while giving them a cuddle - this can be a great way to help them feel calm too! You can then do the meditation another time when you're able to be alone and in private by listening to the recording.

Recordings are sent out immediately following the class end and will be available until the time of the following week's class.
