Description

Forget the pressure to ‘bounce back’, RESTORE is a pilates-based safe return to exercise that’s perfect post-birth. This class is designed for new mums who want to build a strong foundation with a focus on the core and pelvic floor, whatever your ability. Led by PT, postnatal specialist and mum of two Marianna, this class is safe for diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction. 

Recommended for mums from 6 weeks postpartum or 10 weeks post-section.

Pre-walking babies welcome. Mats and equipment provided.

  • Pilates-based group workout using body-weight, resistance bands, and small Pilates balls
  • Full-body, low-impact workouts targeting core, pelvic floor, and glutes
  • A cool down lit by fairy lights focusing on core strength
  • Class recordings for flexibility in your schedule
  • Options provided for those with diastasis recti and pelvic floor concerns.

This is a place to feel encouraged, refreshed and empowered. As a new mother herself, Marianna, your personal trainer and postnatal coach offers a workout that is delivered with expertise, the most up to date research and an empathetic ear. Postnatal issues such as diastasis recti (split abdominals) and pelvic floor dysfunction (incontience, prolapse) are accommodated with breathing, core and kegal exercises. Marianna herself has pelvic organ prolapse and has navigated the journey back to strength training and running. The low impact approach provides a workout that will improve heart health and muscle tone, address pre and postnatal issues, aid weight loss and stress relief. The aim is that you finish the class feeling empowered to pursue your ongoing fitness goals, having had fun along the way. You'll be added to an online private Facebook group for additional support, connection and recordings of the workouts. The exercise class runs for 45 mins, with chat either side to connect with other mums. The workouts are recorded but the chats remain confidential. You'll need to have the all clear from your GP check and complete a questionnaire before participating. Time to #feelmpowered !!
