MUSIC TIME FOR UNDER 5S

Sessions are fully interactive and lots of fun, with many singing games, songs and rhymes with actions. Real instruments plus props including puppets, colourful scarves, parachutes and more! These sessions help your child experience and develop essential musical concepts: pulse (beat), rhythm, pitch, loud/ quiet, sound/ silence, turn-taking, listening. They are based on the Kodály approach to music education whose philosophy is that every human being has an innate musicality and that the deepest way to connect with this is through singing. If you're wondering "Is my voice good enough?" I hope you will be reassured by this: "Research has shown that it is YOUR voice that counts while playing with your child. It is YOUR voice the child recognises and bonds with. How your voice compares with opera or pop idols is truly not relevant, so relax and enjoy this unique opportunity to sing to someone who will think your voice is fantastic!"
