SUZUKI MUSIC TIME

I am excited to offer your family the opportunity to explore the joy of

music through Suzuki Violin Lessons in Walthamstow.

Your child can participate in weekly in-school violin lessons based on the world-renowned Suzuki Method—a nurturing and proven approach that emphasises learning music in the same natural way children learn to speak: through listening, repetition, encouragement, and parental involvement.

Who Can Join?


Children from age 4, with or without prior experience. Beginners are very welcome, as are parents! You are invited to come to attend the lessons with your child.

Lesson Details:

When: Mondays and Fridays after school.

Where: Walthamstow

Teacher: Hannah van den Brul is a qualified Suzuki teacher with ten years experience teaching young children, who also has a career as a performing musician and received a distinction in her masters in Ethnomusicology from SOAS. ]

All children learning the Suzuki method learn best if a parent can attend their weekly private lessons.

This is a family learning method and if you can make it to the lessons that would be ideal, so please let me know the timings that could work for you on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

Your child will learn in an individual private lesson and in a weekly group lesson, where they consolidate their skills and learn to play with other children.
Lesson Fees:
Lessons: 30 minutes individual tuition £24 Group: 30 minutes with all the children together £8
Full price total for individual lesson & group £32 per week, bursaries available.
Lessons are paid for in advance, half-termly. Your child will be offered between 34 and 37 lessons a year.

Additional costs:
Suzuki violin recordings and Suzuki violin volume 1 £15
Violin hire: if renting through the Suzuki in Schools programme £18 per half term
