THE CHILDREN'S WOOD

The purpose of the playgroup is to provide an opportunity for parents/ caregivers to bring their children to the Children’s Wood and Meadow for outdoor play and fun and to meet other children and families.

Playgroup is a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. The Children’s Wood playgroup began from the recognition that there were no outdoor playgroups in our area, yet there were lots of indoor playgroups and clubs for families to attend – we wanted to balance things out and make it easier for families and children to get outside. Children are not getting enough time to play outside and our playgroups provide an opportunity to counteract this trend.

The cost is £1 per family and this covers snack, and a fund for toys and equipment. Please bring a drink for your child and dress for the weather.
