Description

THE CLASS
I tell a different educational musical story every week. My story includes games, a chance to try different instruments, and a very simple ukulele lesson to those who want to have a go. My stories are very educational and support child development. (Stories are often famous stories that you will know, such as The Hungry Caterpillar) with live ukulele songs, lots of props, bubbles, parachutes, giant balloons, ribbon sticks and more. All classes facilitate child development in line with EYFS. Songs inc pop songs, kid's songs and original Ukeboxbaby songs.

(I also teach the ukulele in local primary schools and perform my own kid's musicals at events. I perform at Camp Bestival, Brighton Fringe, & Fat Boy Slim's Big Beach Cafe, among more.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
In these classes babies & toddlers are introduced to language skills, counting, about concepts such as animals, seasons or space, co-ordination through dance and more - all in line with EYFS.

Be transported to another world of music and exploration, bubbles, a parachute, toys, and very creative activities.

QUOTES
‘This is my son’s absolutely favourite music class!’
(Sophia mum of Robert.)

‘One of the best baby & toddler classes we’ve been to!’
(Little Grazers)

‘The Ukeboxbaby leaders are meticulous in their planning so that all of their activities meet the various areas in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.’ (Alison Cardownie-Care, Head of Early Years, Brighton Girls.)

Being exposed to music during early development has many benefits. It’s direct effect on the brain is undisputed. The process of making music, singing and trying different instruments helps little ones to learn the sound and meanings of words, not to mention significant memory and cognitive skills improvement.
