Welcome to Tiny Track & Play — a train and track playgroup in Essex where children can play, learn, and explore through trains!

We’re a family-run train and track playgroup based in Essex, offering exciting, themed sessions for children — a place where imaginations come to life through hands-on, track-based adventures.

Lovingly created from our youngest son’s endless love for trains, what began as a living room full of wooden tracks, tunnels, and motorised engines quickly grew into a joyful community space — designed to share that same excitement with other families, one session at a time.

Track & Play began with a simple goal: to bring imaginative, hands-on fun to local families across Essex.

For younger children, we blend early years development with themed play that sparks curiosity, movement, and social interaction.

For older children, we build interactive track layouts that suit their growing creativity and need for dynamic, engaging play.

Each session is crafted with atmosphere in mind, offering a calm, creative space where children can explore at their own pace

🎟️Booking required – spaces are limited to ensure a calm and engaging session for everyone.

👶 Siblings under 18 months are welcome and do not require a ticket

Join us for a calm morning of train track adventures. We’ll be setting up a huge variety of our train sets for our motorised trains along with build your own wooden track, Thomas toot toot, Magic tracks, Mario Hot Wheels and a small area aimed at younger children/siblings with push along vehicles. (Please note due to some venue sizes on occassions not all the above will be out)

Ages: Best suited for 18 months – 7 years, though older children are welcome if they’d enjoy it.

-Parents must attend with their children.
-Baby in arms are free (no ticket required)
-Siblings under 18 months will need a ticket
-Children/Siblings over 18 months will need a ticket
-Your ticket covers entry of 2 adults for free, any additional adults who would like to come will need an additional adult ticket.

Booking is required — spaces are limited to keep sessions calm, fun, and engaging
