Join us for a magical parent-and-tots forest school session designed especially for little explorers aged 0–5.

These gentle 45-minute woodland adventures are the perfect way for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to enjoy nature at their own pace while spending quality time outdoors with their grown-ups. One adult is included in the price.

Our festive-themed sessions are filled with simple, engaging activities that encourage curiosity, confidence, and creativity in the natural world. Children can explore the woodland environment with all their senses, discovering seasonal treasures, textures, and colours in a calm and welcoming setting.

We’ll enjoy a blend of:

🍁 Gentle nature play – low-pressure, child-led exploration using natural materials.

🎄 Festive sensory activities – seasonal trays, textures, and nature-based elements to spark imagination.

🖍️ A simple take-home craft – a sweet, accessible make using natural or festive resources.

🔥 Cosy camp-vibes – relaxed time outdoors, fresh air, and the magic of the woodland.

Our sessions are designed to be inclusive, nurturing, and reassuring for both children and their adults. Whether you’re new to outdoor play or already love muddy boots and woodland wanders, you’ll find a friendly, supportive space to explore together. The pace is gentle, the atmosphere is warm, and the focus is always on connection, curiosity, and joy.

Please dress for the weather and expect a bit of mud, a lot of fresh air, and plenty of festive fun.

The woods are wonderfully restorative for grown-ups too, and many families find these sessions a lovely way to slow down and reconnect before the busy festive season.

Meeting point: Please meet us in the car park. We’ll walk to the woodland area together.

What to wear: Children and adults should come dressed for the weather. Waterproofs, warm layers and wellies are strongly recommended as we’ll be exploring in all conditions.

What to bring: Nothing extra is needed — all materials for activities and crafts are provided.

Weather policy: Sessions run in rain, and we have shelter available. However, we do not run in yellow wind warnings for safety reasons. Families will be contacted if a session needs to be cancelled.

Babes in arms: Babies who are not yet mobile can attend free of charge with a paying sibling.
