Friday Play Mornings @ The Nest are a warm, relaxed way to end the week with your child.

This 75-minute mixed-age session welcomes babies and young children (0–5 years) into a calm, carefully prepared play environment where they can explore freely while parents can sit with a cup of tea or coffee and take a breather.

It isn’t a structured class and there’s nothing you need to prepare for - you can feed, change, cuddle or settle your child as needed and simply follow their pace. The atmosphere is kept gentle rather than busy so younger babies feel comfortable alongside older toddlers.

I’m Alisa, a mum of two and a Montessori guide, and I’ll be there throughout - welcoming families, supporting play and keeping the space calm and comfortable.

If you’ve been thinking about visiting The Nest but weren’t ready to commit to a weekly group, this is a lovely first step.

Spaces are limited so the room stays peaceful. We’d love to welcome you.

Free tea and coffee will be available. 

Note that the Friday Play Morning is our relaxed mixed-age community session. If you’re looking for a more tailored, age-based class with a consistent group each week and specific developmental activities and guidance, our weekly Montessori classes may be a lovely fit for your family.

Space for buggies is very limited, so if you can leave yours at home or are happy to leave it outside The Nest, that would be ideal. There is free parking outside and on the street.
